The Challenge
Monitoring was handled by separate recording systems in different parts of the facility, so the security team had no single view of activity and no consistent recording standard.
Our Approach
A site survey established the areas requiring coverage, the level of detail needed in each area and the network capacity available. Storage retention and monitoring workflow were defined before any hardware was specified.
The Solution
An IP surveillance environment was designed around coverage zones, with cameras aggregated on PoE access switches, a dedicated network segment for video traffic, centralized recording and a monitoring position for the security team.
